There are few experiences that can top taking part in a stage show, either on stage or off. At HAODS we are a lively, friendly society that is keen to welcome new members. Even if you have never set a foot on the stage before you will soon find yourself part of the team and enjoying yourself among new friends.

Joining us can involve a myriad of activities, so your skills can be focused in one area or many and include....

There is a great deal that goes into creating a HAODS show as well as the great friendships that come with working together with like minded people towards a common goal.

There are no auditions for membership to the Society. We are all amateurs and we aim at the highest standards of performance and production in our shows. If you are interested in performing in one of our shows, auditions are held for both the principal (main) parts and a simpler group audition if you just want to be in the chorus. The whole process is very friendly and informal and takes place in our main rehearsal studio at HAODS House. HAODS House is accessed via the Broadbridge Heath Leisure Centre.

There is a small annual membership fee of £50 to join the Society. Those members who choose to tread the boards also pay a show fee for each show. HAODS has considerable facilities available to its members including two Rehearsal Studios, Costume Rooms, Set Design & Props areas and our Green Room. Whether you are a seasoned amateur or have never set a foot on the stage before, you will be most welcome and encouraged by all in our award winning society.
