Why don't YOU, or your BUSINESS, help secure the future of HAODS by becoming one of our Friends?
HAODS really values the support of our Life Members and Friends . Friends of HAODS receive a membership card which entitles them to a free programme at each of our shows and their name, or the name of their business or company, appears in our programmes and on our website. Friends also receive an invitation to our annual afternoon tea or coffee morning and have access to HAODS House Green Room during rehearsal times. Annual membership of the Friends of HAODS scheme is £20 for an individual or company, or £35 for a couple.
HAODS Annual Tea Party
On Sunday 21st September 2014, HAODS opened it's doors for members from the past to come and enjoy afternoon tea.
There was entertainment, fantastic food, old photos and a lot of memories shared, as some ex members had not seen each other for years, maybe even decades!
This event was conceived and organised by Jane O'Sullivan who has been a HAODS member for 30 years and it was a great opportunity to celebrate 60 years of our society. The video below was put together by Becca Attfield to give you a taster...
On Sunday 20th September 2015, HAODS held another afternoon tea for members and friends to celebrate HAODS 61st year, and to present the recently awards for excellence from NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association). The event continues to run year on year, with 2016's attended by Jeremy Quin - MP, to hand out well deserved long service awards.
